The SCERT, Delhi an autonomous body, established in May, 1988 has been providing academic resource support to the Directorate of Education and the Education Departments of MCD and NDMC and Cantonment Board so as to achieve overall improvement in the quality of school education . The SCERT support is available through various programmes which include continuing education of teachers, development of appropriate material for teachers and students and undertaking research studies on the problems related to school education in Delhi. The SCERT also oversees and provides necessary guidance towards effective functioning of nine DIETs of Delhi, which among other activities also conducts two years pre-service Diploma Course in Elementary Teacher Education.

State Council of Educational Research & Training, Delhi invites online applications from eligible candidates for Change Makers in Education (CMIE) Fellowship and Internship Programme 2021-2022.
CMIE programme is an opportunity for the dynamic youth who aim to contribute to society through a holistic transformation of the school education system in Delhi.
25 (Twenty Five) (subject to change) Fellows and 25 (Twenty Five) interns shall be selected to be part of CMIE 2021-2022

The Change-Makers in Education (CMIE) Fellowship and the Change-Makers in Education (CMIE) Internship are two programs launched by the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Government of NCT of Delhi.
These programs are for young leaders who believe that a high quality public education system is the foundation of any great nation.

Eligibility
I. Fellowship
- Post-Graduate, OR Graduate with a minimum 2 years of work-experience
- Age criteria (as on 20 August 2021)
- General: 22-35 years
- SC/ST/OBC: 22-37 years
II. Internship
- Graduated within the last two academic years i.e. batch of 2019
- Age criteria (as on 20 August 2021)
- Less than 25 years
- Fellowship : 1 year (extendable by 1 year)
- Internship : 6 months (extendable by 6 months)
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Fellows shall receive a stipend of Rs.60,000/- per month and Interns shall receive a stipend of Rs.20,000/-per month.Paragraph
