Society for Applied Microwave Electronic Engineering and Research (SAMEER) is an Autonomous Research & Development institution of Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India. SAMEER Kolkata Centre is looking for suitable persons for various sponsored project on consolidated pay. These are contractual appointments and shall not confer any right for regularization / absorption or continuation of service in SAMEER

Eligibility
Research Scientists
Essential Qualification B.E./ B.Tech/ M.E./ M.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering or Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering or equivalent from a recognized university / institution with minimum 60% marks.
Desirable Experience in electronic circuit/antenna design, handling of test and measurement instruments and electromagnetic/ circuit simulation.
Project Assistant – A (Electronics) Essential Qualification Diploma in Electronics Engineering/ Electronics & Communication Engineering/ Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering or equivalent (3 Years course) from a reputed technical board with minimum 55% marks Desirable Experience in electronic circuit assembly and handling of test and measurement instruments
Project Assistant – A (Mechanical) Essential Qualification Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (3 Years course) from a reputed technical board with minimum 55% marks Desirable Experience in 2D and 3D CAD based drawing generation
Project Assistant – B
Essential Qualification Diploma in Electronics Engineering/ Electronics & Communication Engineering/ Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering or equivalent (3 Years Duration) from a reputed technical board with minimum 55% marks.
Experience Five years experience in electronic circuit assembly, layout generation and handling of test and measurement instruments
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Research Scientists Rs. 30,000/- per month (consolidated pay). One additional increment of Rs 1,600 for M.Tech qualification. No other allowance is admissible.
- Project Assistant – A Rs. 17,000/- per month (consolidated pay). No other allowance is admissible.
- Project Assistant – B Rs. 21,500/- per month (consolidated pay). No other allowance is admissible.
