Society for Applied Microwave Electronics Engineering & Research, Centre for Electromagnetics (SAMEER-CEM), Chennai, an autonomous scientific institute of the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, is a premier Research & Development institution of the Government of India
and its headquarters is at Mumbai. Its main objective is to promote the growth of Science and Technology in the areas of Microwave Electronics, Electromagnetics and its allied areas. Other centers of SAMEER
are located at Kolkata, Vishakhapatnam and Guwahati.

Description

SAMEER is keen to engage suitable retired Scientific Officer/Technical Officer/SE/EE (Civil Engineering) as Consultant – Civil Engineer at Mumbai/Navi-Mumbai for its various projects on consolidated pay. The position of Consultant-Civil Engineer is on contract basis. Initially the contract is for a period of 1 year and can be extended upto the age of 65 years of the selected officer.

• Consultant-Civil Engineer

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree (B.E.) in Civil Engineering, AMIE, or Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized university or institution with at least 55% marks.
• Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in Civil Engineering.
• Must be a retired Scientific Officer/Technical Officer/SE/EE (Civil Engineering) from a Government or Autonomous Body, having held a position at Pay Level 12 or higher at the time of retirement.”

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• The remuneration shall remain fixed during the tenure of consultancy.
• Fixed amount of Transport Allowance for the purpose of commuting between the residence and the place or work shall be allowed not exceeding the rate applicable at the time of retirement excluding DA.
• No Dearness Allowance shall be payable.
• No HRA shall be payable.
• No Accommodation will be provided by SAMEER.
