SNDT Women’s University, Mumbai, is inviting applications for a Research Associate position in the Department of Geography, Pune. Description

The Department of Geography at SNDT Women’s University, Pune, is conducting a major research project titled “Sustainable Rural Development through Women Entrepreneurs Engaged in Honey Bee Keeping Activities with reference to Pune Administrative Division.” This project aims to explore and enhance the role of women entrepreneurs in rural development through sustainable practices. The Research Associate will play a crucial role in supporting this project, working closely with the project director and other team members to achieve the research objectives.

Eligibility

Candidates must have a postgraduate degree in a social science discipline with a minimum of 55% marks. Additionally, they should have cleared NET/M.Phil./Ph.D. and possess at least two years of research experience as a Research Assistant in any project. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in SPSS software and a background in social sciences.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• Rs. 47,000 per month (fixed)
