The Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology, Surat popularly known as National Institute of Technology, Surat, NIT Surat or SVNIT, is an engineering institute of higher education established by the Parliament of India in 1961. This Institute was established in 1961 as one of the RECs for imparting technical education in Civil, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. In the year 1983-84 the Under Graduate programmes in Electronics Engineering was introduced and in the year 1988-89 the UG programmes in Computer Engineering and Production Engineering was started. In the year 1995-96, UG programme in Chemical Engineering was introduced. In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the University Grants Commission (UGC) Act, 1956, the Central Government on the advice of the University Grants Commission, has declared the Sardar Vallabhbhai Regional College of Engineering & Technology (SVREC), Surat to Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology (SVNIT), Surat with status of “Deemed University” with effect from 4th December 2002.

Regional Coordinating Institute (RCI) – Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, SVNIT, Surat invites applications on Google form for one post of UBA Manager for different activities related to the “Regional Coordinating Institute – Unnat Bharat Abhiyan activities“. Purely on a contract basis (Initially for 11 months and further extendable up to 02 years based on performance)

Title of Project Regional Coordinating Institute – Unnat Bharat Abhiyan

Job Work :

1. Office work for promoting and facilitate UBA network of SVNIT Surat
   region.
2. Interaction and coordination with all Participating Institutes (PIs), all
   Higher Educational Institutes (HEI) and NCI, IIT Delhi.
3. Enrollment of new PI and facilitate, guide and monitor all PIs (RCI, SVNIT Surat region)
4. Visiting for Registration conversation and capacity building with HEIs, Head,
   Principal, Vice Chancellor, Government Officers, NGOs, Resource unit or Organisation.

Qualification criteria

i. B. E. / B. Tech in Civil / Mechanical Engineering &
Experience: Minimum 02 Years’ experience
OR
ii. MBA with B. E. / B. Tech in Engineering
OR
iii. M. E. / M. Tech in Civil / Mechanical Engineering
Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English, Gujarati and Hindi both written and verbal, Basic knowledge about MS Office, Good team work and organizational skill, Adequate knowledge about Rural projects, Government schemes, Local Self-Finance Institutions. Age should not exceed 35 years.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• Maximum 50,000/- per month i.e. Rs. 30,000/- to 38,000/- + HRA (20%) + TA / DA (Rs. 4,400/- Maximum based on actual bills) per month.
