The Regional Institute of Education Mysuru ( Formerly Regional College of Education ) founded on 1st August, 1963, is one of five such institutions established by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), New Delhi. The other Institutes are located at Ajmer, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar and Shillong. The Regional Institutes were started with main the objective of qualitative improvement of school education through innovative pre-service and in-service teacher training programmes and relevant research, development and extension activities.

The Regional Institute of Education, Mysuru will conduct Walk-in-Interview for the following Consultant / Laboratory Assistant posts at the Institute in the Chamber’s of the Principal purely on Contractual Basis for the period mentioned against the each post or till regular incumbent join duty whichever is earlier.

Eligibility

Essential: Post Graduate Degree in Education/Psychology from recognized University with minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade.
Desirable:
1. B.Ed. & M.Ed. from recognized University/Institute.
2. Ph.D. is relevant subject.
3. NET/SLET Qualified. 4. Proficiency in English and working knowledge of Computer Applications.
Consolidated Remuneration: Rs. 45,000/- Per Month
Laboratory Assistant in Psychology – 01 post
Essential: Bachelor Degree in Psychology with 50% marks Desirable: Experience in maintaining Psychology Laboratory / Specialization in Educational Psychology or Clinical Psychology. Consolidated Remuneration: Rs. 17,000/- Per Month
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Consultant – 01 post Consolidated Remuneration: Rs. 45,000/- Per Month
- Laboratory Assistant in Psychology – Consolidated Remuneration: Rs. 17,000/- Per Month

Those who fulfill the eligibility conditions may attend the walk-in-interview with their bio-data, with a recent Passport Size Photograph and Original Testimonials, Proof of Age, Caste Certificate in respect SC/ST/OBC and produce a set of self-attested copies of testimonials for scrutiny one hour before the commencement of the Interview. In the absence of these required documents applicants will not be allowed to attend the interview. Medium of instruction is English. No TA will be paid for attending the interview.
