The Regional Centre for Biotechnology is conducting a walk-in interview for a Project-JRF position. The project aims to explore non-host resistance mechanisms in mungbean, providing a broad-spectrum immunity to fungal diseases. This research is crucial for developing sustainable agricultural practices and enhancing crop resilience. The position is initially available for one year, with the possibility of extension based on project continuation and annual performance evaluations.

Eligibility
M.Sc. degree in Life Sciences/ Biotechnology with minimum 60% marks in qualifying exams and NET or any National-Level JRF eligibility test qualification.
Practical knowledge of basic molecular biology techniques, including nucleic acid extraction and gene expression analysis, is essential. A strong motivation and commitment towards research are required.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Fellowship: Rs. 37,000/- plus applicable HRA per month
