Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology invites applications eligible candidates for the post Superintendent (Accounts) on Contract Basis

The Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas (MoPNG), Government of India, set up the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology at Jais, Amethi, Uttar Pradesh, by the Act of the Parliament. The Institute has been accorded the eminence of being an Institution of National Importance along the lines of the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). The Institute is empowered to award degrees in its own right. The Institute is co-promoted as an energy domain specific institute by six leading oil public sector units (Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited, Indian Oil Corporation Limited, Oil India Limited, Gail (India) Limited, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited) in association with the Oil Industry Development Board. The Institute is associating with leading International Universities/Institutions specializing in the domain of Petroleum Technology and Energy.

RGIPT invites applications from highly motivated & eligible candidates for the post Superintendent (Accounts) on Contract Basis. The details of the post are as follows:

Position

• Superintendent (Accounts) (Temporary/ On Contract)

Eligibility

Superintendent (Accounts) (Temporary/ On Contract)

1. Com. with 60% marks or M. Com. with 55% marks from Government recognized Institute/ University
2. Qualified Intermediate CA or CA course conducted by ICAI
3. Proficiency in Tally, Excel and other Computer Applications
4. Minimum 5-years’ experience either with any Central Government Higher Educational Institution or CA firms in the core fields of Accounts and Finance
5. Candidate should have exposure in following areas:
   • Bank Reconciliations
   • Party Ledgers Reconciliations
   • Trial balance Finalisation
   • Voucher entry-cash/ bank/ Journal Voucher
   • Preparation of Income & Expenditure, Receipt & Payment and Balance Sheet
   • Branch Accounting
   • Computation of Total Income of the Institute and filing of Annual Income Tax Return (ITR)
   • Payroll and total Income Computation of Employees and computation of TDS liability on its
   • GST Compliances- Filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-7, GSTR-9
   • Income Tax (various sections 194-J, 194-C, 194-I, 192-B, etc
   • Filing of Quarterly TDS Return and Issuance of Form-16 & 16-A
   • Accounting Standards/Concepts & Conventions and GFR-2017, etc.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

Superintendent (Accounts) (Temporary/ On Contract) Compensation: Fix Remuneration of Rs. 44,250/-
