The Department of Plant Pathology at PAU, Ludhiana, is seeking a Senior Research Fellow to join their team. The role involves conducting research on the efficacy and phytotoxicity of copper hydroxide compounds against diseases in potatoes and chillies. This position is part of a scheme that will last for six months or until the scheme’s termination, whichever comes first.

Project Details
Project Title: “Bio-efficacy and phytotoxicity evaluation of INF 23-1 and INF 23-2(Copper Hydroxide 30.77% WG) against diseases of potato and chilli, Misc 53 (PC-5381)”
Duration: The Project for a period of six months or till the termination of the scheme whichever is earlier
Eligibility
Candidates must have a B.Sc. in Agriculture (Hons.) or any life sciences discipline with a minimum OCPA of 6.00/10.00 or 60% marks. An M.Sc. in Plant Pathology or Botany with a minimum OCPA of 6.50/10.00 or 65% marks is required. A Ph.D. in Plant Pathology or Botany with the same OCPA is also acceptable. Preference will be given to candidates with research experience in vegetable pathology and fungicide evaluation at the Ph.D. level.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Rs.31,000/- plus 16% HRA per month (fixed)
