Project Details
Project Title: “Program to enhance the use of Bioinformatics, Synthetic Biology & Genome Editing for Collaborative Research in Biological and Biomedical Sciences”.
Duration: One year Renewable for another year upon satisfactory progress in the research project.
Principle Investigator: Prof. Srinivasan Chandrasekaran.
Eligibility
I. Postgraduate degree (M.Sc./MTech), including a minimum of two years of experience in R&D in an industry or academic institution in Life Sciences that includes Biotechnology. Bioinformatics, or Microbiology.
2. Relevant research experience in molecular biology techniques includes synthetic biology, genome editing by CRISI’R C as9. rDNA. and culturing and transformation of algal species.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Rs. 33,000/- per month + HRA (as per PU norms) per month
