Project Details

Project Title: “Exploration and Documentation of Isopod Parasitism Among Fishes in the Island Ecosystems of Andaman and Lakshadweep”.

Duration: 3 years

Tenure of appointment: Maximum of 3 years or till the completion of the project.

Funded by: (ANRF)

PI: Dr. K. A. Jayaraj. 

Eligibility

• Research Associate:  Ph.D. in Marine Biology. Experience in the field of parasitic isopods.
• Project Assistant:  B. Sc in Zoology/ Botany/ Biotechnology/Microbiology. Experience in molecular techniques: M.Sc. in concerned subjects, SCUBA.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• Research Associate: Rs. 58,000/- + HRA as per GOI rules
• Project Assistant: Rs. 27000/- +HRA as per GOI rules
