The PDPM IIITDM Jabalpur is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work on a cutting-edge research project. The project, titled “Development of an Integrated Multi-Parameter Engine Health Monitoring Framework for Combustion, Emission, Vibration and Lubricant Degradation Analysis in Compression Ignition Engines Powered by Various Biodiesel Blends,” aims to establish a comprehensive engine health monitoring system. This system will enable simultaneous monitoring of combustion characteristics, emissions, vibration signatures, and lubricant degradation, addressing the limitations of existing independent parameter assessments.

Eligibility
Candidates must possess a B.E./B.Tech or M.E./MTech or equivalent degree in Mechanical or any allied branch relevant to the project, with a first-class qualification. The age limit is preferably below 40 years as of the interview date, with relaxations for SC/ST/OBC as per institute norms. Candidates with hands-on experience in fabrication techniques and knowledge of thermodynamic modelling, simulation, and modelling tools such as ANSYS, MATLAB, and SolidWorks will be given preference.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Rs. 20,000/- per month
