The Indian Institute of Information Technology Tiruchirappalli (IIITT) was established in the year 2013-14 as the Institute of National Importance under Public Private Partnership Mode by the Ministry of Education (MoE), Govt. of India. The main objective of IIITT is to impart world class education in Engineering and Technology to conduct research in the relevant fields, and to further advance learning and dissemination of knowledge. A major objective in establishing IIITT is to set up a model of education which can produce best-in-class human resources in IT and can harness the multidimensional facets of IT in various domains.

Event Introduction
Major Course Contents: The workshop is divided into five modules. All the sessions are based on applications focused on the large data sets pertained to healthcare and allied domains:
☛ Introducing the basics of Research Methodology, questionnaire designing, and using various types of data sources
☛ To provide hands-on-experience to the participants in analyzing and interpreting data using SPSS, and R
☛ Demonstrations by using large scale data sets to equip them with the knowledge of different tools and techniques used in the data analysis of
modern day Management/Social Science/Others.
☛ Applications of research methodology in academic research & industry analysis.
☛ To use appropriate methods in formulating and writing professional publications/ reports.
Speakers of this Programme
The programme will be conducted in online mode by the faculty members from NIT Warangal and IIIT Tiruchirappalli. Academicians in the concerned field from IIMs/IITs/NITs/IIITs/Central funded Institutes are invited to deliver the lectures in the programme. Speakers from industries are also expected to deliver lecture as part of the course.
Who can Apply?
The programme is open to the faculty of Management, Social Science, Engineering, Life Science, and other allied disciplines. Industry personnel working in the concerned /allied discipline can also attend.
