Description
NIPER Kolkata is seeking a qualified Junior Research Fellow to contribute to a project titled “Fiber Reinforced Poly (L-lactic acid) for Fabrication of Bio-absorbable and Antibiotic Surgical Staples for Wound Closing.” This project is sponsored by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) and aims to develop advanced surgical staples that can be absorbed by the body, reducing the need for removal and minimizing infection risks.

Tenure: 3 months
Funded by: Indian Council of Medical Research
Eligibility
Candidates must possess an M. Tech, MS (Pharm), M. Pharm, or M.Sc in Pharmacy, Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, Chemistry, or Material Science with a minimum of 60% marks. Experience in biomaterials development is essential. Preference will be given to candidates with a valid GPAT/NET/GATE qualification and those with prior experience in funded projects.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Rs. 37,000/- with admissible HRA
