Applications are invited from the interested candidates for one temporary position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work on a sponsored research project entitled “Design and operation of
chemical looping combustion of coal and biomass for clean energy production with CO2, capture” from SERB under Core research grant.
Details of qualifications, Emoluments and duration are given below: Nature of work : Synthesis of nanostructured metal oxides, thermal cycle stability analysis of metal oxides in high temperature furnace reactor. 3 Years of Duration.

Position: Junior Research Fellow :
First class with not less than 60% aggregate / 6.5 CGPA (on a 10 point scale) in B. Tech./B.E. in Chemical Engineering / Energy Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/ Materials Science/ Metallurgical Engineering and allied disciplines and First class with not less than 60% aggregate / 6.5 CGPA (on a 10 point scale) in M.Tech in relevant disciplines.

B. Tech/B. E. in Chemical Engineering/Metallurgy/Materials science/Mechanical Engineering/Energy Engineering/allied disciplines with a valid GATE score and at least a CGPA of 8.0/10 or 75% of marks.

First class with not less than 60% aggregate / 6.5 CGPA (on a 10 point scale) M.Sc. Chemistry and allied disciplines with qualified NET/GATE score. Qualified GATE score is desirable.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Junior Research Fellow – Rs. 31,000/- per month for the first 2 years and Rs. 35,000/– per month for 3rd year Hostel accommodation in the campus will be provided based on the availability.
