Description

The AKASH-6G project aims to develop AI-native 6G non-terrestrial networks with a focus on deep learning frameworks for resilient direct-to-device connectivity. This research initiative is a part of the broader efforts to advance communication technologies and enhance connectivity solutions. The selected JRF will engage in cutting-edge research and development activities, contributing to the project’s objectives over a period of three years.

  • Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Eligibility

Candidates must possess a B.Tech/B. E or equivalent degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering and an M.Tech/M.E in the same field or equivalent. A minimum of 60% aggregate marks or 6.5 CGPA is required for GEN/GEN-EWS/OBC-NCL categories, and 55% or 6.0 CGPA for SC/ST/PwD categories. Candidates should have a strong understanding of satellite communication, digital communication, probability theory, optimization, and wireless communications. Experience with programming languages, machine learning applications, and simulation tools such as MATLAB or Python is desirable.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

  • With National Eligibility Test (CSIR UGC NET or GATE): ₹37,000 + HRA (1st and 2nd Year), ₹42,000 + HRA (3rd Year)
  • Without National Eligibility Test: ₹30,000 + HRA (1st and 2nd Year), ₹33,000 + HRA (3rd Year)
