Description

The Student Intern position at NIT Trichy is designed to provide practical experience in developing a Dedicated Distributed Generator (DDG) with Hybrid Energy Storage and Renewable Energy Resources. The intern will work on creating control strategies to support resynchronization for active distribution networks (ADN) with the grid. This role involves developing control strategies in C2000 boards and requires proficiency in simulations using MATLAB/PSCAD and microgrid modelling.

Eligibility

Candidates must be pursuing or have completed a B.E. or B.Tech. in Electrical or Electrical and Electronics Engineering, preferably completing their third year by April/May 2026. The candidate should have strong skills in MATLAB/PSCAD simulations, microgrid modelling, and coding in C2000 boards.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

  • Rs. 5,000 per month
