The National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, is seeking qualified candidates for the roles of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and Project Associate (PA)-I. The selected candidates will work on the RISE project, which focuses on developing a smart EV charging platform integrated with renewable energy sources. This project aims to enhance the reconfigurability, interoperability, and grid management of EV charging systems.

Eligibility
For JRF: Candidates must have a B.E/B.Tech. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or an M.E./MTech. in Power Electronics, Power Electronics & Drives, Control Systems, Power Systems, or any other relevant specialization with a valid GATE score.
For PA-I: Candidates should possess a B.E./B.Tech. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or an M.E./MTech. in Power Electronics, Power Electronics & Drives, Control Systems, Power Systems, or any other relevant specialization. A preference is given to candidates with an M.E./MTech in Power Electronics.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Junior Research Fellow (JRF) (Gate qualified candidates): ₹37,000/- per month for the first two years and ₹42,000/- per month in the third year.
- Project Associate-I (PA-I) (Non-Gate qualified candidates): ₹30,000/- per month for the first two years and ₹33,000/- per month in the third year.
