Description
The project titled “Diaziridines as Potential Low-toxic Hypergolic Propellants: Alternative to Monomethyl Hydrazine” is funded by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO). Under the guidance of Dr. Ganesh Chandra Nandi, Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry, the research aims to explore the synthesis of small organic strained molecules. The selected candidate will engage in the synthesis, purification, and characterization of these molecules, contributing to the development of safer propellant alternatives.

Eligibility
Candidates must have submitted their PhD thesis submission or hold a doctorate degree in Organic Synthesis from a reputed institution. The position requires a strong understanding of organic synthesis techniques, including purification and characterization of compounds. The age limit is set at 35 years, with relaxations of 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates, in accordance with Government of India regulations.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Rs. 58,000 per month plus 16% House Rent Allowance (HRA)
