National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli (NIT Tiruchirappalli or NIT Trichy) is a national research university near the city of Tiruchirappalli in Tamil Nadu, India. It was founded as Regional Engineering College Tiruchirappalli in 1964 by the Governments of India and Tamil Nadu under the affiliation of the University of Madras. The college was granted Deemed University status in 2003 with the approval of the University Grants Commission, All India Council for Technical Education and Government of India and renamed as National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli. National Institute of Technology Trichy is one of the 31 National Institutes of Technology established by the Government of India. Eligibility

• Project Associate Qualifications
  M. Tech./M.E. in Geotechnical Engineering/ Soil Mechanics
  and Foundation Engineering with B. Tech. / B.E. in Civil
  Engineering
  Experience in geotechnical investigations and design is
  desirable
• Project Assistant Qualifications
  Diploma in Civil or B.E/B. Tech in Civil Engineering
  Experience in geotechnical projects is desirable
  Basic computer knowledge

Job Description

• Project Associate – ONE
  Carryout Geotechnical Investigation Projects
  Analysis of data and design
  Report preparation
• Project Assistant – ONE
  Involvement in projects pertaining to Geotechnical lab and
  field testing
  Collection of field data
  Conducting laboratory tests
  Assisting in report preparation

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• Project Associate Rs. 25,000/- per month
• Project Assistant Rs. 12,000/- per month
