Description

The National Institute of Technology Silchar is seeking a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for a temporary position in the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering. The project, titled “ML-Driven ISAC for Hybrid Satellite-Terrestrial 6G Connectivity,” aims to develop Machine Learning-based algorithms to enhance sensing and communication in terrestrial wireless systems and Integrated Satellite-Terrestrial Networks (ISTN).

Eligibility

Applicants must possess an M. Tech/ME degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical Engineering (EE), or Electronics & Instrumentation (E&I) with a valid GATE score. A solid understanding of digital communication, probability theory, optimization, and wireless communications is crucial. Experience with programming languages such as MATLAB or Python is desirable. The age limit is 35 years as of the application closing date, with relaxations applicable as per Government of India rules for SC/ST/OBC/WOMEN/PWD candidates.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

  • Rs. 37,000/- per month, with an additional HRA of 10% if Institute accommodation is not provided.
