The National Institute of Technology Rourkela is seeking applications for a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position in a project funded by the Ministry of Earth Sciences (MOES). The project aims to explore innovative solutions and conduct in-depth research in Earth Sciences, contributing to the advancement of knowledge and technology in this critical field.
Position
- Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Eligibility
M.Sc. or MTech from a recognized university in Meteorology or Atmospheric Science or Oceanography with at least 60% marks. Candidate should clear NET or GATE or any CFTI Exam. Experience in lightning and hail analysis, thunderstorms, and AI/ML application is desirable. Experience in Field data collection may also be preferable.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Year 1 & 2: INR 37,000.00 /-per month (+) HRA @ NA % (if applicable).
- Year 3: INR 42,000.00 /-per month (+) HRA @ NA % (if applicable).
