The National Institute of Technology Rourkela is inviting applications for the position of Software Engineer on a contract basis. This role is situated within the Centre for Automation Technology (CAT) and is not linked to any permanent position at the institute. The selected candidates will be involved in software development projects, focusing on web and mobile application development.

• Software Engineer (On Contract)

Eligibility

Candidates must possess an MCA or M.Sc. in IT/CS with a CGPA of 7.00 or more, or a B.Tech. in CSE/IT/AI with a CGPA of 6.00 or more from a recognized university or institute. Applicants should have a strong background in software development, particularly in web development using technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, JavaScript, JSON, ASP.Net Core 8, Entity Framework, MVC, C#, Web Service Tools, and Web API integration. Experience in database design and development using MS SQL/MySQL and/or mobile application development for Android and iOS is also required. Preference will be given to candidates with relevant experience and exposure to real-life web/app development projects. The maximum age limit is 35 years.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• Consolidated remuneration of Rs. 50,000 per month during the contract period.
