Description

The National Institute of Technology Raipur is conducting a walk-in interview for the recruitment of Junior Research Fellows (JRF) for a sponsored R&D project. The project aims to develop an AI-driven framework to ensure groundwater iron safety for tribal mining communities in Chhattisgarh. This initiative is crucial for addressing environmental and health challenges faced by these communities due to mining activities.

• Junior Research Fellow (JRF) – 02 positions 

Eligibility

Candidates must possess a B.E./B.Tech. and M.E./MTech. in Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics, Electrical, AI, Data Science, Applied Geology, Civil, Mining, or equivalent with a minimum of 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA (out of 10) in M.E./MTech/MCA. 

Alternatively, candidates with a B.E./B.Tech. from an Institute of National Importance with a minimum of 80% marks or 8.5 CGPA (out of 10) are eligible. Desirable qualifications include selection through national level examinations conducted by central government departments and agencies such as ICMR, IIT, IISc, DST, and DBT, along with sound knowledge in AI, Deep Learning, and programming languages like Python/R.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• Rs. 37,000/- per month + 20% HRA
