The National Institute of Technology Puducherry, recognized as an Institute of National Importance under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, is seeking applications from Indian nationals for a Junior Research Fellow position. This role is part of an industry-sponsored research project aimed at developing innovative solutions for landslide mitigation. The project is led by Dr. Senthilkumar V from the Department of Civil Engineering.

Eligibility
Candidates must possess a B.E/B.Tech in Civil Engineering and an M.E./MTech in Geotechnical Engineering or an equivalent qualification. The age limit is set at 35 years as of the last date of application. Candidates should have knowledge in slope stability, rockfall/debris flow barriers, geosynthetics, finite element analysis, and landslide mitigation. Experience with numerical modelling tools such as PLAXIS, ABAQUS, and LS-DYNA is desirable, along with laboratory and field-testing experience.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- â‚ą37,000 per month + HRA (8%) for the first two years
- â‚ą42,000 per month + HRA (8%) for the third year
