Description

The Junior Research Fellow (JRF) positions are part of the SAKSHAM-Scientific Advancements in Knowledge for Sustainability, Healthcare, and Materials Foundation (ANRF) under the ANRF PAIR Program. The project aims to develop robust testing frameworks for deep learning models in antimicrobial resistance diagnostics and therapeutics. The positions are based at NIT Kurukshetra, with collaboration from IIT Indore, and involve working on cutting-edge research in Health and Medical Technologies.

Project Details

Project Title: “Deep-Test-All: A Genetic Algorithm Based Framework for Robust Testing of Deep Learning Models in Antimicrobial Resistance Diagnostics and Therapeutics”.

“Developing an Interpretable and Efficient Machine Learning Framework to Predict Antimicrobial Resistance towards Drugs”.

Duration:  Initial appointment is up to 30 June 2027, to be continued till September 2029 or co terminus with the duration of the project based on the performance of the candidate (semester wise).  

Funded by: Anusandhan National Research Foundation

Eligibility

Candidates must have a post-graduation degree in Engineering/Technology with at least 60% aggregate marks or a CGPA of 6.5 on a 10-point scale for general candidates. A relaxation of 5% marks or a CGPA of 0.5 is applicable for SC/ST/PwD candidates. Final-year students awaiting results can apply but must submit their results by 30th November 2026. A desirable qualification includes CSIR/UGC-NET or GATE qualification.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• Rs. 37,000/- per month plus HRA as per norms
