Description

The Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position at NITK Surathkal is a contractual role aimed at advancing research in the development of innovative perovskite-based nanoelectronics. Eligibility

Candidates must possess a Post Graduate Degree in Engineering/Technology or a Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science with a specialization in Electronics, Nanotechnology, Physics, Chemistry, or an equivalent field. Undergraduate candidates in Engineering/Technology are eligible if they have qualified GATE/NET or any equivalent examination conducted by the Central Government. A minimum CPI/CGPI/CGPA of 6.5 on a 10-point scale or 60% marks in the master’s degree is required for Open/EWS/OBC-NCL candidates, while SC/ST candidates need a minimum CGPI of 6.0 or 55% marks. Desirable qualifications include a B.E./B.Tech degree in relevant engineering disciplines.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

  • Rs. 37,000/- per month for the first two years
  • Rs. 42,000/- per month for the third year, plus HRA as per norms
