Description
The Department of Water Resources & Ocean Engineering at NITK is seeking qualified candidates for the role of Site Engineer. This position is part of a consultancy project aimed at strengthening and retrofitting the Chatham Bridge at Sri Vijaya Puram, Andaman & Nicobar Islands. The project is funded by the Andaman Public Works Department and offers a unique opportunity to work on marine infrastructure projects.
Position

Eligibility
Candidates must possess a Diploma/BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering or an M.Tech in Marine Structures. Preference will be given to those with experience in executing port or marine infrastructure projects, particularly in the Andaman region.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Rs. 60,000/- for undergraduate degree holders with a minimum of 2.5 years of experience or fresh M.Tech graduates in Marine Structures.
- Rs. 70,000/- for undergraduate degree holders with a minimum of 5 years of experience and diploma holders with a minimum of 10 years of experience.
