The Department of Water Resources & Ocean Engineering at NITK is seeking a Project Assistant for a project titled “Quantitative retrieval and spatio-temporal analysis of soil quality parameters using Geospatial datasets and machine learning techniques in Western Plains and Ghat regions of Karnataka.” This project aims to leverage cutting-edge technology to enhance our understanding of soil quality in these regions, providing valuable insights for environmental and agricultural applications.

Eligibility
M.Tech in Geoinformatics/Remote Sensing and GIS /Water Resources Engineering/ Hydrology/Agricultural Engineering
M.Sc in Geoinformatics/ Remote Sensing/any other relevant MTech specialization degree. Candidates must have at least 6.5/10 CGP or 60 percent marks in aggregate from a recognized technical institute or university as a full-time program.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Rs. 25,000 consolidated per month
