National Institute of Technology, Jamshedpur, earlier known as Regional Institute of Technology was established on 15th August 1960 as a joint venture of Government of India and the Government of Bihar in the chain of REC’s (Regional Engineering College) in India with the aim to generate technical graduates of highest standards who could provide technological leadership to the region. It was among the first eight Regional Engineering Colleges (RECs) established as part of the Second Five-Year Plan (1956 – 1961). This was the only REC in the country which was named as RIT (Regional Institute of Technology).

A Walk-in-interview of eligible Indian citizens for the position of a Project Associate in Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) sponsored project under Chip to Startup (C2S) initiative in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, National Institute of Technology Jamshedpur, , India will be held as per the details mentioned below:
Carry out research in 1C design, testing, and product development for Industry 4.0. S Coordinate with cluster institutes for project activities and attend training. Maintain EDA tools and workstations in laboratories and support students in the related area. Create essential documentation for projects and manuals for EDA tools.
Assisting Pis with various activities towards completion of the project.

Eligibility
Position: Project Associate –01 post
Essential: M. Tech with domain knowledge in VLSI design, EDA tools (Cadence, Synopsys and Mentor Graphics), RTL coding and physical design.
Preferable : Knowledge of RTL coding, driver development using C language, VLSI EDA tools and physical design. Applicants with a GATE score will be preferable.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- INR 45,000 per month (10% increment each year subject to satisfactory performance).
