The National Institute of Technology Goa (NIT Goa) is a premier technical Institute of the region. NIT Goa was established in the year 2010 by an act of parliament (NIT act 2007) and it is declared as ‘Institute of National Importance’. NIT Goa is an autonomous institute and functioning under the aegis of Ministry of Education (MoE), Govt. of India. The campus is located at Farmagudi, Ponda approximately 29 km southeast of Panaji, the capital of Goa and it is a temporary campus. Applications are invited from the interested candidates for the post of JRF positions to work on the R&D project titled “Wind Energy Harvesting from Vortex Induced Vibration of Multiple Cylinders using Novel Multiple Piezoelectric Strips Arrangement”, sanctioned under Start-up Research Grant (SRG) scheme by Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Dept. of Science and Technology (DST), Govt. of India.
Position
- Junior Research Fellow(JRF) – 1 Post
Eligibility
- M.Tech./M.E. and B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or related branches of Mechanical Engineering with NET/GATE and at least 6.5 CGPA or 60 percent marks in aggregate from a recognized technical institute or university in a full-time program.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Junior Research Fellow – Rs. 31,000/- per month (Other allowances as per Institute norms)
