The Department of Computer Science & Engineering at NIT Durgapur is seeking a Junior Research Fellow to contribute to a project titled “Design and Development of an Integrated System for the Santali Script, Ol-Chiki Recognition, and Santali-to-English and English-to-Santali Translation.” This project aims to develop advanced systems for language recognition and translation, leveraging cutting-edge technologies in AI and machine learning.

  • Junior Research Fellow

Eligibility

M.E./M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering / Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Information Technology / Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning / Artificial Intelligence and Data Science / Electronics and Communication Engineering / Electronics and Tele-Communication Engineering or allied subject with a minimum of 6.5 CGPA or 60% marks (6.0 CGPA or 55% marks for SC/ST candidates) from any recognized Institute / University.  MCA/M.Sc. in Computer Science with a minimum of 8.0 CGPA or 75% marks (7.5 CGPA or 70% marks for SC/ST candidates) from any recognized Institute / University.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

  • Rs. 37,000/- + HRA per month for the 1st and 2nd year
  • Rs. 42,000/- + HRA per month for the 3rd year
  • HRA is not applicable if accommodation is provided on campus
