The National Institute of Technology Calicut is conducting an online interview for the engagement of a Junior Research Fellow or Project Associate I on a contract basis. This position is part of a research project focused on high precision interfacing circuits for capacitive-based sensors (HPTCCS). The selected candidate will work in the Electronics and Communication Engineering Department, contributing to ASIC design, physical design, documentation, and tape-out related activities.

Duration of Engagement: On contract basis initial appointment for a period of I year, Extendable upto 2 years based on performance
Eligibility
Essential: First class in B.Tech /B.E. in ECE or closely allied areas Desirable: M.Tech. in VLSI or related areas; knowledge/proficiency in schematic and layout design using Cadence tools.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Junior Research Fellow: ₹37,000 + 18% HRA per month for candidates qualified in GATE/NET
- Project Associate I: ₹30,000 + 18% HRA per month for candidates not meeting the above qualification

5. Applicants who are already in employment (government or any other organization) are required to submit a “No Objection Certificate” from the employer at the time of interview along with the above mentioned documents.
6. No TA/DA will be paid for their appearing in the interview.
