Job Description

Applications are invited from the interested candidates for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work on the R&D project under Department of Science and Technology (DST) – Science & Engineering Research Board (SERB), Empowerment and Equity Opportunities for Excellence in Science (EMEQ) scheme, Govt. of India, sponsored project bearing the sanction number EEQ/2022/001043 undertaken in the Department of Electrical Engineering, NIT Andhra Pradesh.

Position

Junior Research Fellow (JRF) – 1 Post

Eligibility

B.E/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering/Electrical and Electronics Engineering and M.E/M.Tech. in relevant specializations of Electrical Engineering/ Electrical and Electronics Engineering with minimum 60% marks (or a minimum CGPA of 6.5 on a 10 point scale) and with a GATE/NET Qualified.
Desirable Qualifications/ Experiences :
Analytical and experimental activities during M.E/M.Tech. for the development of power electronics based system with concluding understanding, knowledge and experience with technical software/tools (MATLAB/SIMULINK, PSIM, SNSYS, etc.) for simulation studies and dSPACE/FPGA/Micro/DSP controllers for the
implementation of control techniques. Candidate is expected to join immediately.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• Rs. 31,000/- pm (for the first 2 years) and Rs. 35,000/- pm (for the 3rd year) plus House Rent Allowance (HRA) as per the Institute rules
