The Project Associate position at NISER Bhubaneswar is a temporary role focused on research in extraterrestrial intelligence. Project Details
Project Title: “Multifaceted Search for Extra-terrestrial Intelligence”
Eligibility
Candidates must have at least 55% marks, or an equivalent GPA, in a Master’s degree in Physics, Astronomy, Space Sciences, or a relevant field, or a 4-year B.E./B.Tech degree in an engineering discipline.
Valid National Eligibility Tests – CSlR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or valid GATE.
DESIRABLE: Preference will be given to candidates with strong programming and computational skills in Python. Experience or knowledge in machine learning and radio astronomy will be considered an additional advantage.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- ₹31,000 plus HRA for candidates with valid NET/GATE
- ₹25,000 plus HRA for candidates without valid NET/GATE
