Eligibility
Senior Research Fellow: i) M.Tech / M.Sc. / Ph.D degree (4 yrs of UG + 2 yrs of PG) in Food Process Engineering/ Food Technology/Food Process Technology/Food Safety & Quality Assurance/Processing and Food Engineering/ Agricultural Processing/ Food Science/ Food Science and Technology/ Food Science and Nutrition/ Food and Nutrition/ Chemical Engineering/ Biotechnology/ Food Technology and Management/ Food Process Engineering and Management Food Plant Operations and Management/ Food Safety and Quality Management / Food Supply Chain Management Post-Harvest Technology/Fish Process Engineering/Dairy Technology/Dairy Engineering (or) ii) M.Sc. degree (3 years of UG + 2 years of PG) in the above disciplines with 2 years of experience with NET qualification (or) Ph.D. in the above disciplines. (or) iii) Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) (4 years of UG + 2 years of PG).
Food Analyst: Master’ s/ Doctorate degree in Chemistry/ Biochemistry/Microbiology/Dairy Chemistry, Agricultural Science/Animal Science/ Fisheries Science/ Biotechnology/ Food Safety/ Food Technology/ Food Science and Technology/Food Process Engineering/ Food and Nutrition/ Dairy Technology Oil Technology/Veterinary Sciences from a University established in India by law; or Associate of the Institution of Chemists (India) by examination in the Section of Food Analysis conducted by the Institution of Chemists (India).
Essential Experience: The candidate should possess not less than three years of experience in food analysis in any institution/research institution/ research laboratory after acquiring the prescribed minimum educational qualification and should have qualified the Food Analyst Examination (FAE) conducted by FSSA1.

Application Fee: Rs.500/- (SC/ST/PWD/Women Candidates are exempted from payment of fees). Tenure of Senior Research Fellow/ Food Analyst: Tenure will be initially for a period of six months and renewal of tenure will be done every six months based on the performance. The applicant must ensure that he/she fulfils the eligibility conditions in accordance with the prescribed qualification, experience etc., before applying for the specific post. The candidates must apply only through online application form available in the Institute website www.niftem-t.ac.in. No offline application sent directly to the Institute will be entertained. The candidate must upload soft copies (PDF form) of all certificates and relevant documents in support of their claim in the online application form wherever necessary. In respect of publications, the first page of publications must be uploaded, failing which such publications will not be considered. After successful submission of online application, the candidates are instructed to sign the hardcopy of downloaded application. The signed application form, self-attested copies of supporting documents and copy of e-receipt generated in SBI collect are to be scanned as a single PDF file. The scanned PDF file has to be sent to the mail id: projectrecruitment@iifpt.edu.in within THREE days from the last date of online submission.
