National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT),(erstwhile DOEACC Society), an Autonomous Scientific Society under the administrative control of Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MoE&IT), Government of India, was set up to carry out Human Resource Development and related activities in the area of Information, Electronics & Communications Technology (IECT). NIELIT is engaged both in Formal & Non-Formal Education in the area of IECT besides development of industry oriented quality education and training programmes in the state-of-the-art areas. NIELIT has endeavoured to establish standards to be the country’s premier institution for Examination and Certification in the field of IECT. It is also one of the National Examination Body, which accredits institutes/organizations for conducting courses in IT in the non-formal sector.

Description

NIELIT Chennai is looking for bright & result-oriented candidates for Embedded Systems and Information Technology. The following positions are available purely on a temporary contractual basis on consolidated emolument initially for a period of 01 (One) year or coterminous with the project whichever is earlier.
Qualification, Experience, Remuneration, and Age limit for engagement of temporary project staff are as under

• Resource Person (Project Associate – Data Science)

Eligibility

Resource Person (Project Associate – Data Science)/ Resource Person (Project Engineer – Embedded)
Essential Qualifications:
a) B.E/B. Tech. (Computer Science/Computer Engg/ Information Technology/ Electrical and Electronics Engineering/ Electronics and Instrumentation/ Electronics/ Electronics & Communication), M.Sc (Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Electronics/ Applied Electronics/ Physics) or equivalent with first class from recognized university/institution.
Or
b) M.Tech/M.E in Computer Science/ IT/ Electronics & Communication/ Electronics or any specialization in CS/ IT/ EC/ Electronics like VLSI Design, Information Security, Embedded System Design, Software Engineering, AI, Networking, etc., or equivalent with first class from recognized university/institution.
Or
c) PhD in Computer Engineering or Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Electronics/ EEE/ E&I/ Communications /Electronics and its allied fields like Agriculture Electronics, Opto Electronics, Power Electronics, Consumer Electronics etc., or any specialization in CS/IT/Electronics like VLSI Design, Software Engineering, AI, Networking, etc., or equivalent with first class from recognized university/institution

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• Resource Person (Project Engineer – Embedded) Rs.25,000/- to Rs.30,000/-
• Resource Person (Project Associate – Data Science) Rs.25,000/- to Rs.30,000/-
