It has about 14 well equipped laboratories and Mechanical workshop besides a rich Library, Gymnasium for students, Auditorium, Canteen, Basket-ball ground, Volley ball ground, Kho Kho ground etc.

National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT), Aurangabad Recruitment 2024 – for Junior Research Fellows (JRF): NIELIT Aurangabad invites applications from young and meritorious Indian Nationals for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF). Project details: Design and Development of Ultra-Low- Power RISC-V Based Lightweight Edge AI Processor for IoT Enabled Healthcare Applications under Chips to Startup Programme(C2S) of Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY) Government of India. Project Duration: 5 Years.

Eligibility

Skill Sets Required: Sound Knowledge of Verilog RTL Coding, Strong fundamentals in C/C++, MATLAB, AI algorithm implementation in C/Python, Multi-threading and Programming, Good knowledge in Linear algebra, Knowledge in Digital signal processing, adaptive signal processing & array signal processing, Hands on experience in FPGA Architecture and Programming, Hands on experience on AI based Micro controllers and Microprocessors Programming and debugging, Hands on experience in IoT based electronic product design and development, Sensors and actuators used in healthcare applications and interfacing with microprocessors and micro-controllers. Educational Qualification Minimum eligibility criteria/Essential Qualification: B.E/ B.Tech in Electronics and Communication/Electrical and Electronics/ Computer Science and allied branches/M.Sc. in Electronics/Computer Science. Candidates should also have qualified GATE/ CSIR UGC National Eligibility Test, including NET Lectureship (Assistant Professorship). OR M.E/M.Tech in VLSI/Microelectronics/SoC-Design/Semiconductor Technology/Embedded Systems/IoT/Computer Science/Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning/Signal Processing/Communication Systems and allied branches. Candidates should also have qualified GATE/ CSIR-UGC National Eligibility Test, including NET Lectureship (Assistant Professorship). OR B.E/ B.Tech in Electronics and Communication/Electrical and Electronics/ Computer Science and allied branches from the institutes/colleges which accepts admission through IIT-JEE(Mains or Advanced) Examination Only. OR M.E/M.Tech in VLSI/Microelectronics/SoC-Design/Semiconductor Technology/Embedded Systems/IoT/Computer Science/Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning/Signal Processing/Communication Systems and allied branches from the institutes/colleges which accepts admission through GATE Examination Only.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• The Fellowship is initially for a period of One Year and is renewable annually for a total period of Five years. There will be a review of the activity every year for the renewal of the fellowship. The Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) carries an amount of Rs.37,000 per month, with a possibility to be increased to Rs.42,000/- per month as Senior Research Fellowship (SRF), after two years, on successful completion and review of research work of the previous two years by a review committee.
