Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology Walk-in-Interview at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Haringhata, for the selection of a Senior Research Fellow(SRF)

The Government of West Bengal set up an expert committee on December 31, 1998, under the Chairmanship of Ashesh Prasad Mitra, Eminent Scientist to explore the necessity and scope for establishment of an Engineering / Technology University in the stste of West Bengal.The University came into operation formally with the assumption of the office of the first Vice Chancellor on January 15, 2001 as a sequel to the promulgation of THE WEST BENGAL UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY ACT, 2001, under West Bengal Act XV of 2000 passed by the West Bengal Legislature. The University started its academic programme, from July 16, 2001 following a Notification from the Department of Higher Education, Government of West Bengal dated June 15, 2001 through the affiliation of Engineering and Management Institutions / Colleges and has entered the eighth year of its functioning. The University is included in Section 2F and also in Section 12B of UGC and recipient of UGC Grant.

Description

Candidates are invited for a Walk-in-Interview at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Haringhata, for the selection of a Senior Research Fellow(SRF) to pursue Research and Developmental work for the Project entitled, “Optimization of Tilt angle of a fixed Solar Panel based on Microclimatic data of West Bengal”, sanctioned by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of West Bengal.

Eligibility

1. M.Tech/ME in CSE/IT/ECE/EE/Microelectronics & VLSI Technology and related field with specialization in IOT and it’s Hardware implementation OR
2. B.Tech/BE in CSE/IT/ECE/EE/AEIE with at least two year experience in IOT, Controller design & Research/Product Design & Development. OR
3. M.Sc in Physics/Electronics with at least two year of experience in IOT, Controller design & Research/ Product Design & Development.
   Desirable: Since the Project is in the field of Solar Photovoltaic, Candidates with research experience in Design, Modelling and Simulation of Photovoltaic circuits and Systems along with the knowledge in the field of Data Acquisition, Data Analysis/ Machine Learning/AI/Optimization Technique and experience in Research /Product Design & Development will be given preference.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• As per DST, West Bengal Latest norms ( Rs 30,000/ per month Consolidated). No separate benefit is admissible
