Description
The Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), located in Manipal, Karnataka, is seeking a qualified Project Research Scientist -1 (Non-Medical) to join their team. This position is part of a project funded by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), focusing on the regulatory cascade of EbpB-54 to address severe Leptospirosis. The project will be conducted under the supervision of Dr. Sajith, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Public Health and Genomics at the Manipal School of Life Sciences.

Eligibility
Candidates must possess a PhD, M.Sc., or a 4-year Engineering degree with 2-3 years of relevant experience. The age limit for applicants is 35 years. Experience in infectious diseases, animal models, genetic engineering, and working with spirochetes is required. Preference will be given to candidates with UGC-CSIR/NET/GATE/DBT-BET qualifications.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Rs 56,000 per month + HRA 10% as per CCRH norms
