Description

The Manipal Academy of Higher Education is seeking a qualified Project Research Scientist II (Non-Medical) to contribute to a cutting-edge research project funded by the ICMR. The project aims to enhance early and pathogen-specific diagnosis of sepsis through advanced profiling techniques and to evaluate antimicrobial sensitivity using animal models.   • Project Research Scientist II 

Eligibility

Candidates must possess a PhD in Life Sciences, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biological Sciences, or Cell Biology, with relevance to the project. Experience in animal handling and surgical techniques on rodents/mice, including tracheostomy, catheterization, and blood and tissue collection, is mandatory. Candidates should have published research articles involving murine models in peer-reviewed journals. Preference will be given to candidates with UGC qualifications, experience in metabolomics (GC-MS/LC-MS), multi-omics data analysis, and strong scientific writing and communication skills.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

  • INR 67,000 plus 10% HRA per month
