International Institute of Information Technology Hyderabad IIITH invites applications from software engineers to work at the first of its kind India-EU collaboration project, Smart City Living Lab, funded by MEITY, Government of India. This is an excellent opportunity to be a part of the team to define the system infrastructure necessary for futuristic Smart Cities in India based on cutting edge technologies and standards.
The job involves development and deployment of sensor nodes and working on technologies to handle data lakes along with research and development in a loT Interoperability standard called oneM2M, which has been adopted byTSDSI for Indian Smart Cities. The selected candidate will get a wonderful opportunity to work with faculty and research groups engaged to produce reliable, standards compliant and expendable products.

Eligibility
Position: Software Engineers Bachelor’s/Masters Engineering degree in Computer Science or equivalent with good computer science background and hardware awareness with a minimum of 3-4 years of experience in relevant software field.
Requirements
• Preferably worked in loT domain and have experience with cloud platforms.
• Backend (primary skillset): Python, Django, REST APIs
• Frontend: HTML, CSS,Jquery/Ajax, Bootstrap
• Programming languages: Python, JavaScript Java, C/C++
• Databases: Postgres or equivalent databases
• Deployment: Apache2, nginx
•Good exposure to server/client architecture, load testing and security testing
