The Institute of Life Sciences (ILS) in Bhubaneswar is seeking a qualified individual for the role of Project Technical Support-II. This position is part of a project funded by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) aimed at developing a public domain reference atlas and spatial transcriptome facility for aging research. The role involves working in a biological/chemical laboratory setting, contributing to the understanding of brain aging in the Indian population.

Project Details
Project Title: “Exploring the pathobiology of brain aging in Indian population: developing a public domain reference atlas and spatial transcriptome facility for aging research”.
Duration: All the positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
Eligibility
Candidates must have completed 12th in science along with a Diploma in MLT/DMLT/Engineering and possess five years of experience in a biological/chemical laboratory. Alternatively, a postgraduate degree in a science subject is acceptable. Experience in handling patient tissue samples and metadata, as well as knowledge of tissue sectioning and immunohistochemistry, is desirable.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- ₹20,000 per month + 20% HRA
