The Institute of Infrastructure, Technology, Research And Management (IITRAM), an esteemed autonomous university established by the Government of Gujarat, is inviting applications for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF). This opportunity is part of a Climate Change Department sponsored project aimed at developing a Carbon Capture Prototype for the Sustainable Transport Sector. Description

IITRAM is renowned for its commitment to advancing engineering education and research. The institute offers a range of programs in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Computer Science Engineering, along with Ph.D. studies in various fields. This JRF position is part of a project focused on designing and developing a carbon capture prototype, a crucial innovation for sustainable transport solutions. The project is set to last for 36 months, providing a robust platform for research and development.

Position

• Junior Research Fellow (JRF) – 1 Position

Eligibility

Candidates must possess a degree in Basic Sciences (Physics/Chemistry/Materials) or Engineering/Technology. Specifically, an M.E./M.Tech. in Mechanical, Automobile, Materials, or Chemical Engineering with First Class is required. B.Tech. degree holders in relevant disciplines with a high CPI are also eligible. Final-year M.E./M.Tech. candidates can apply, with preference given to those who are GATE or NET qualified. Proficiency in simulation software and basic knowledge of IC Engine fundamentals are desirable skills.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• • ₹37,000 per month for first two years as JRF
•  • ₹42,000 per month, for next one year as SRF
