The Institute for Plasma Research (IPR) is an Aided Institute of Department of Atomic Energy, Govt. of India devoted to research and development activities in the areas of Basic Plasma Physics, Magnetic Confinement Fusion and Industrial & Societal applications of plasmas. IPR is located in Bhat, Gandhinagar, Gujarat and also has extensions of its Laboratories at GIDC, Sector – 25, Gandhinagar, Gujarat and has a Centre at Guwahati.
Job Description
Online applications are invited from eligible candidates for appointment to the following posts at ITER India a project of IPR, on Direct Recruitment basis. These appointments are coterminous with the project. The selected candidates are required to assist/ supervise various activities (related to their disciplines) pertaining to research and development in the field of plasma and fusion science and technology; and any other area of interest to ITER-India, IPR.

Eligibility
Scientific Assistant – B in Physics – B.Sc. in Physics with minimum 60% marks.
Scientific Assistant – B in Computer – Diploma in Computer Engineering (3 years after SSC) with minimum 60% marks.
OR
B.Sc. in Computer Science with minimum 60% marks.
Scientific Assistant – B in Mechanical – Diploma in Mechanical
Engineering (3 years after SSC) with minimum 60% marks.
Scientific Assistant – B in Electronics – Diploma in Electronics Engineering (3 years after SSC) with minimum 60% marks.
Scientific Assistant – B in Electrical – Diploma in Electrical Engineering (3 years after SSC) with minimum 60% marks
Remuneration
- Scientific Assistant – B – Level-6 of Pay Matrix and Initial basic Pay ₹ 35,400/- p.m. (As per 7th CPC).
