Description

The IGNTU is seeking applications for the temporary positions of Research Assistants and Field Investigators. These roles are integral to a six-month research project focusing on the influence of traditional leaders in Vth Schedule Areas. The positions are initially offered for one month, with a potential extension of up to four months. This project provides a platform for researchers to engage with significant socio-political issues and contribute to academic discourse.

Position

  • Research Assistant: 2 positions available
  • Field Investigator: 10 positions available

Eligibility

Candidates must hold a Master’s degree with at least 55% marks in disciplines such as Sociology, Anthropology, Social Work, Tribal Studies, Political Science, History, Ancient Indian History Culture and Archaeology, Psychology, or Economics. A 5% relaxation in marks is available for SC/ST candidates as per Government of India norms. Experience in research projects and knowledge of SPSS is desirable.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

  • Research Assistant: ₹37,000 per month (fixed)
  • Field Investigator: ₹20,000 per month (fixed)
