The Indian Institute of Technology Tirupati (IIT Tirupati), established in 2015, is an autonomous Institute under Ministry of Education, Government of India. It is declared as an Institute of National Importance under the Act of Parliament of India (Institutes of Technology Act, 1961).

Applications are invited from the eligible Indian nationals for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position in the Department of chemistry/chemical engineering, IIT Tirupati under the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO)-sponsored project.

Eligibility
Essential Qualification For JRF: PG Degree in Basic Science OR Graduate/Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course selected through a process described through any one of the following: (a) Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE (b) The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and institutions such .as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc. Relaxation for reserved categories are applicable as per the govt norm.
Desired Experience :
– Knowledge of Candidate having M. Sc. in Chemistry with sound knowledge of basic chemistry and experience in conducting chemical reactions
– Knowledge of computational chemistry/ theoretical chemistry
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- For JRF: INR 37,000.00 + HRA as applicable.
