The Postdoctoral Research Position at IIT Ropar is designed for candidates with a strong research background in areas such as Computational Mechanics, Auxetic Structures, and Composite Materials. Eligibility
Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Material Science. Those who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis are also eligible to apply.
Applicants should have demonstrated research expertise in at least one of the following areas:
Computational Mechanics: Fracture and damage mechanics, phase-field modelling, gradient damage modelling.
Auxetic Structures: Design, numerical analysis, optimization and experimental characterization.
Composite Materials: Experimental and computational analysis experience of CFRPs and GFRPs, including mechanical characterization, damage and failure analysis.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- The selected candidate will receive a consolidated fellowship of Rs. 60,000 per month.
