The Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee is seeking applications from Indian nationals for a research position in the Department of Civil Engineering. Project Details

Project Title: “Development of Design Methodology and BIS Language for Lattice Girder Deck Slab”.

Duration: 7 months, which may be extended based on the research project’s extension.

Principle Investigator: Dr. Rakesh Ranjan

Eligibility

Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering and an MTech. in Structural Engineering with a CGPA above 6.5 or a percentage greater than 65%. Additionally, candidates must have qualified for the GATE exam. Experience in numerical modelling of reinforced concrete structures and proficiency with software such as ABAQUS, ETABS, and STAAD Pro is required. Experience in writing technical reports and performing large-scale casting of RCC members is also essential.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• Rs. 58,000 + 9% HRA per month (all inclusive)
