Applications are invited from Indian nationals only for project position(Junior Research Fellow) as per the details given below for the consultancy/ research project(s) under the Principal investigator (Name: Dr. Puneet Gupta), Department of Chemistry, Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee. Title of the project is “Metal-free Boron based Catalyst for Direct Conversion of Alkanes to Aldehydes and Alkenes: Role of Catalyst at the Electronic Level in product Selectivity”.

Eligibility

Position: Junior Research Fellow
Essential Qualifications : A) M.Sc, or equivalent degree in Chemistry / Physics / Applied Chemistry / Industrial Chemistry / Pharmaceutical Chemistry / Biochemistry or B.Tech in Polymer Technology / Chemical Science and Technology.

B) Qualified in CATE, CSIR-UGC NET or other national level
examinations conducted by central government departments/ agencies such as DST, DBT, MHRD etc.

C)Experience in the area of computational modeling and simulations is desirable but not mandatory.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

Junior Research Fellow – Rs. 31 ,000 + HRA (as per norms, if hostel is not provided)
